The tiny land snail V. geyeri is a highly endangered species, exclusively inhabiting alkaline tree-less spring fens. After two unexpected findings in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, we explored this region more properly and found another 18 sites, including Nature Reserve Řeka with the richest known European population.
