The methodical procedure of evaluating sociable socioeconomic importance of forest functions in a monetary form is solved in the Czech Republic for the individual main sociable forest functions by basic differentiating agents and by methods corresponding with various socioeconomic contents of the given forest functions and hence their relation to the market. The soil conservation function is possible to file to non market environmental forest functions with transmitted impact on the market. It concerns particularly soil erosion and eroded soil deposition priced by compensation costs, i.e. costs of measures removing damage. Earlier constructed methods, both pricing soil loss on a site from surface and introskeletal erosion, and pricing silting water reservoirs and courses with sediments from soil erosion washing, were further sophisticated. The current methods were applied on erosive susceptible land of the natural forest region 8 - Křivoklátsko, and Český kras (Bohemian Karst). The disposable sociable socioeconomic price of erosion control function by compensation costs on forest reproduction after introskeletal erosion amounted to 1.116 milliard CZK. The annual social economic price of erosion control function of forest by compensation of costs on removal of deposited sediments attained at conversion of forest land to meadow or pasture as many as 83,000 and 7,088,000 CZK, respectively. In case of intoxication by PAU and AOX compounds and at necessity of waste dumping mined sediments, it is 248,000 and 21,265,000 CZK, respectively. The total capitalized social economic price of soil control function of forest by compensation of costs on removal of deposited sediments raised at 2% interest rate as much as fiftyfold of those values. … full description
