In the first part of this article the author deals with the impact of the technological progress, in particular of that of ICT, upon public administration. E-government and e-governance enable public administration to rationalize and expedite ks activities and to expand the participation of the public in its performance. The second pal-t tackles the impact of globalization as can be witnessed in public administration, in particular the reduction of the role of macroeconomic and fiscal policies of the state and the significance of devolution (decentralization, deconcentration) of powers of public administration to regions and towns. The final part is an analysis of cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors, primarily with respect to the maintenance and construction of infrastructure and the increase of the ef1ciency of rendition of public services and estate, and its innovative potential … celý popis
